Default dvd of photosbacks of photos

Hi, I have made backups of thousands of photos on dvd. But how do I know
that none of the files are corrupted? Would I need to view each file on a
slideshow? I'm new to using dvds as a backup media so I don't know what the
common problems migth be with this way of saving my photos. Any useful tips
are appreciated. (by the way I do have the backups in duplicate). Cheers.

I believe XP Sync Toy will run a file comparison for you. I
have used it and SyncFolders as well

If the files were correctly written in the first place, simply copying all
the files to a temp folder should suffice. The built in crc checking when
reading is very robust.
