"Paul Heslop" wrote in message ... sunset wrote: Wondering How The Year Will Unfold? only if it has hints on my photography. -- Paul (We won't die of devotion) ------------------------------------------------------- As a certain conjurer always said "Yes Paul", but since the light from the stars (astronomical stars, that is) can be many millions of years old, which year would the advice be about. Next year or xxx million minus 1 years ago. How do these Astrologers calculate when the stars are in alignment, when the light takes xxx million years to get here from star x and yyy millions of years to get here from star y. I suppose that either of them could have ceased to exist within the last few million years, but we just would not know about it yet, because the light from its explosion or implosion won't arrive here for another few hundred million years. Just a thought for your logical mind to work on, during the dark nights. Roy G |

edited, for brevity How do these Astrologers calculate when the stars are in alignment, when the light takes xxx million years to get here from star x and yyy millions of years to get here from star y. Roy G Hello, Roy: These so-called "stars" in question, are actually the planets of our own solar system, along with the Sun and Moon. As the ancients lacked telescopes and other modern optical instruments, all such celestial bodies (except those last two mentioned) looked alike, to their "naked" eyes, as points of light. Nonetheless, I completely concur that astrology is pure, paganish pap and/or pseudoscientific drivel. Cordially, John Turco |

No they didn't. You should get out more at night. Stars look like points of light and consequently twinkle.
