Bit of a problem as hand-baggage, though....

woweee!!! A standard lens for that baby would be about 43 inches, or about
1100mm!! Any bets on what the aperture of that lens would be fully open? I
reckon about F11. Stopped down? F128 maybe?
Wonder how much the ground glass and dark slide weigh, let alone the camera
itself.

Well I have a Crumpler 7 Million Dollar Home (among others) and with this
one I think I will need the 700 Million Dollar Home. ;-)

Despite that, this camera is not limited to studio use. See:

Thanks for the link. Somehow, I feel even my 1600 x 1200 display will not
quite do full justice to these images. G In fact, I'm not sure if I
even have a sufficiently large uncluttered are here where I could lay down
a 20 x 24!

Hi Mardon,

sorry for popping up in here but a few folk on ABPO are wondering where/how
you are, and your photos of foggy Newfoundland are much missed!

That is very sad. A bit like daVinci or Michelangelo spending their time producing those cheesy pictures of dogs
playing cards.
