images and examining them closely."

You can find the above from reviews of www.imaging-resource.com

Agree, disagree?

Neutral. If the print is the final destination, the quality on the print
matters. If the screen is the final destination, the quality on the
screen matters. The imaging system needs to be considered as a whole.

For example: if you are making images for Web viewing at, say, 640 x 480
pixels, there comes a quality limit in the display, beyond which there is
no point in feeding the display with a higher quality (resolution) image.

Needs control over contrast and sharpening.

Contrast hasn't been an issue for me, but it would be nice if images could
come out of the camera a bit softer, if desired. This is an issue for
point-and-shoot cameras in general; once you've been spoiled with a decent
dSLR, where you can blow an image up and up and up and deal with what you
photographed rather than artifacts, you're a bit ruined in that regard.

Have you tried "Beach Mode" yet? Does it lower contrast?
