No special D lenses for KM 7D?

I currently own a Minlota A1 and am trying to decide which DSLR to buy.
There is something that keeps nagging my mind when thinking about the
Konica Minolta 7D's wonderfull anti-shake system: since the sensor is able
to move 10 mm unidirectional, it means that it can cover 28 x 34 mm, so
basically full frame. To my opinion this means that this camera is not
suited for the special (cheaper) so called digital lenses, like the ones
made for Canon and Nikon, since these lenses cover only APS sized sensors.
I never read anything about this, is my assumption correct or not. If so,
it probably als explains why the 7D's 17-35 mm lens is so expensive....

Be careful. (D) lenses in Minolta mean ADI (distance integration) where
the lens reports the focal length to the body for flash weighting.

Their "digital" lenses optimized for the sensor size are refered to as

I doubt that the A/S travels anywhere near that far during a reasonable
hand held shot.

There has been some speculation that the effective frame size could be
bigger if that travel was used (for tripod shots of non moving subjects,
of course).
