Tech Pan- DX Coded?
Pretty self-explanatory, really- I was thinking of taking some slow B&W film
on holiday with me to put in my Mju II which, of course, doesn't have manual ISO setting. Is Technical Pan DX-coded, and if so is it coded for ISO25? -- Martin Francis http://www.sixbysix.co.uk "Go not to Usenet for counsel, for it will say both no, and yes, and no, and yes...." |

Is Technical Pan DX-coded, and if so is it coded for ISO25? Since it has no "speed" as such, I don't believe it was ever DX coded. You can buy stickers for those cameras that lack the ability to manually set a speed. -- Joseph E. Meehan 26 + 6 = 1 It's Irish Math |

It is not coded and the speed you set should be related to the developer you
use. I found 64 good for development in Rodinal. There was no speed I liked in Technidol. -- http://www.chapelhillnoir.com home of The Camera-ist's Manifesto The Improved Links Pages are at http://www.chapelhillnoir.com/links/mlinks00.html A sample chapter from my novel "Haight-Ashbury" is at http://www.chapelhillnoir.com/writ/hait/hatitl.html "Martin Francis" wrote in message ... Tech Pan- DX Coded?
In article , larboard34
@hotmail.com says... Why would anyone buy a camera that needs DX coding to function? I'd drill some holes in it and use it for a sal****er fishing lure. God, manufacturers should have their ass paddled for that. Why would people use film in the first place? Carving things into rock worked just fine! No need to develop the rock, either. |
