Default SpyderPro vs. Color Plus?

Doing some quick research on the Colorvision website it seems the SpyderPro
is an outdated product and the Color Plus is newer. I just bought the
SpyderPro and before I open the box I'm thinking maybe I should return it
and saved $50 by buying the $99 Color Plus instead. Is the software newer,
is the puck the same?

In an attempt to be more specific, the Spyder2Pro seems to be the new one.
The question is, is the Color Plus better than the older SpyderPro?

I believe the Color Plus and the older Spyder are the same.
Nevertheless there are some small modifications that prevent you from
using the Color Plus sensor with some other software like the PhotoCal
or OptiCal software.
I bought a Spyder a while back but returned it since it did not do a
good job on my LCD. The Spyder2 that I bought later ($150 on ebay) has
been engineered with LCD in mind. It seems to perform much better.
