Default makeshift lighttable

How do I go about building a lighttable
"from scratch" or with just some
inexpensive parts from Menards /
Home Depot / OBI / whatever?

What is the best way to get the S-curved
shape for the surface?

I need a lighttable for project, but
I don't want to do through the expense
of buying one since I don't know
whether I'd use it again.

Thanks,

Lars

you're talking about a product table? so you can float stuff over a color
background shadowlessly?

go to tap plastics and tell them what you want.

but I would think that a commercially available one would be not that much
more, its already thought out and done for you.
