d300 on a scale of 1 to 10...??

how is the new nikon d300...on a scale of 1 to 10? or..is
it too early to start ratings..? any tec issues on the 1st few
versions to hit the streets? as always thanx to all input from
this group.......

ok....sounds like i may see you at the store....ea?....

i guess i will be picking one up in the next 30 days or so...

I like mine so far. AF is pretty crisp and snappy. Less noise than I
expected from a CMOS. Going to have to abandon CS2 because there's no
RAW add-in.

It isn't quite better than sex, but it's pretty darned close.

I never thought a camera could be so good. It's the best toy I
have ever owned.

I thought I saw the new plug in available for both CS2 and 3, just not
CS?

Compared to the old days I'd rate it like my F4S compared to the old
F3. IOW, I like it. Solid, well balanced, fast, and sharp. I don't
know how many shots I'd get off a charge, but I've run over 400 flash
while using the 18-200 VR with no complaints and it was still going
strong.
