Nikon FC-E9
I'm contemplating getting a Nikon FC-E9 fisheye attachment for a Nikon
8400, intending to use it as an ultra-wide angle (not a fisheye as such). I plan to de-fish the image to get rectilinear perspective. But before I buy this quite expensive lens I'd like to try out the defish process with a sample picture. Anyone out there got one and could email me a sample image showing buildings or interiors or almost anything square or rectangular. All the sample fisheye photos I can find on the web seem to be of trees etc - I'm looking at what sort of result I can achieve compared to a standard wide-angle lens converter on the camera. Thanks in advance if anyone has one of these and can help. I'm not sure I can find the original or contemporaries of this, coincidentally posted to the "work area" thread: http://www.fototime.com/5B54FC2140237ED/orig.jpg Would you say that's about ten or twenty per cent of the image is super-soft? Not really very useful, although I didn't try de-fishing. Ah, here are a few mo http://www.fototime.com/2A577005A85B329/orig.jpg Zoomed to just eliminate the circle: http://www.fototime.com/8FB61BB37DDC97A/orig.jpg http://www.fototime.com/1A35320087D2823/orig.jpg http://www.fototime.com/033698BF232D0FA/orig.jpg I'll look for the originals (from a CP5000, if I remember correctly). -- Frank ess |
