Lew,
Come on now. You can fit how many 8x10's on to a 16x20? How many
5x7's? It is a slot to hold up to a 16x20. I just wouldn't load it up
with a bunch of 4x5 contact prints. The water wouldn't have any action
against the smaller batch of prints sandwiched. If you are doing small
sized prints I would sugest using a siphon tray or a deep tray and
filling and emptying the water while shuffling the prints. Using a HCA
will also cut on wash times also.

Don't have to 'come on,' although 4 8x10's 'fit onto a 16x20,' if they're
held vertically, that number might actually be 2. Since I'm not familiar
with the fine details of how this thing holds prints, it's a legitimate
question.

Okay, So maybe I read your response a little off. There are about
twenty slots for the 16x20 prints. If you were to do smaller prints,
how many would fit into each slot? That is where I was headed. But
putting a bunch of x810's or 5x7's into those slots could become a
headache. Not only with ineffective washing but just trying to get them
the heck out of the slots.;-)

Well is the water flow so strong that they'd bunch together or is there
something preventing their moving around?
