Default Sinar db mount, can it be used with Sinar P?

Can a sinar lens in a DB mount be used with a Sinar P (**not** P2).
If the answer is yes, would I need any accessories for that?
Are there any pros and cons about using db mounts?
Thanks in advance.

DB mounted lenses can be used with nearly any Sinar large format
camera, including the P, P2, F, F2, C, X and Norma, _provided_ the
camera is also fitted with a suitable Sinar shutter.

The Sinar DB mount has no shutter and is designed to be used with a
Sinar behind-the-lens shutter. The most common of these is the fully
mechanical Sinar/Copal shutter which has times from 8s to 1/60s (plus
B). The earliest version of this shutter did not have an aperture
control function, and can't be used with most DB mounted lenses, but I
don't think this version is very common in the wild. All the
Sinar/Copal shutters I have seen has an aperture scale on the left
side of the shutter assembly (seen from the rear), and this is where
the aperture is set.

There is also at least on variety of Sinar electronic shutter which
can be used with DB mounted lenses.

The system is quite well thought out, but DB-mounted lenses can't be
used without a compatible shutter - most of them don't even have a
ring for setting aperture.

The other problem with the Sinar shutter is that the lens has to clear
the shutter blades, and most Sinar-mounted lenses are therefore
mounted on extended lensboards whether they are in DB mount or not.

Thanks in advance.
