Default Leitz Focomat IIa glass film holder: Progress?

Do you have a progress report for us? Inquiring minds want to know.

I am hobbling along with optical glass cut from a 5x5" aerial film pressure
plate. That is glass with fiduciary markings between the negative and lens,
and fortunately no mark in the center so it clears the negative. It is not
ideal, but it works. Very hard and clean glass.

Then my Ilford 400 timer started stuttering. It never ends, eh? Looking for
an Ilford 500 setup now.

How is it going for you, David?

David. Just wondering. Are you the bass player for Danubius?

OK, I guess: surviving, except that I have no darkroom at all at the
moment. Someday ...

That is just AWESOME! My family lived in the BA for a long tine. One
brother is still there, in SF.

So, what can we do to find you a new darkroom? You have given so much to us.
Time for some good payback. If it is even possible.

Thanks for being there for all of us for so very long.

Never. Ducati, old Harley, BMW. The last time I went to the BA I rode the
BMW R100rs.

Wait! I forgot! Yes, I rode a Yamaha long ago, but it wasn't a street bike.
It was strictly a GP track bike - one of Gary Nixon's. Wow. Ancient history!

Not too shabby for $1800. ;
)

FYI, we have an admin on a forum that uses jjs as his nom de guerre
and he's something of an IT admin or programmer living in your area I
believe.

Wow! What a deal! I am dreaming of finding two Gold Wing 6-cylinder engines
and coupling them together for a mid-engine Kelmark kit car. Got a fantastic
chassis builder who can help.

Several years ago I was a sysadmin for Unix, Ultrix, and VMS (OpenVMS) but
they threw all those machines in the dumpster. I do R&D for higher education
projects now.
