FS: Bogen 3299 Tripod QR Adapter w/Anti-Twist Camera Plate

For sale: Bogen 3299 Quick Release Adapter (includes 3157N QR mounting
plate) and Bogen 3157NR Anti-Twist QR mounting plate. (These are
B&H catalog numbers BO3299 and BO3157NR, respectively, if you wish to
check the B&H site for pictures and specifications.) The 3299 QR
is lever-actuated; the lever is much quicker to use than a threaded
knob. A small safety locks the lever in place yet is easily released
with a flick of a finger when the camera is to be removed.

The 3299 Quick Release Adapter has a 3/8" threaded mounting hole. To
mount to a ball or pan head with a 1/4" screw, a 3/8" to 1/4" adapter is
required. The 3299 does not come with an adapter, but one can be purchased
at most camera stores.

The 3157NR camera mounting plate differs from the 3157 mounting plate
which comes with the 486RC2 in that the 3157NR has a lip which can be
positioned at either the front or the back of the camera and prevents
the camera from twisting on the plate. The lipped plate and the adapter
lever safety make this combination safert than many if you carry your
camera around on a tripod.

Both pieces are used, in excellent condition, and are in original packages
with instructions (which, for Bogen products, tend to be limited). The
3299 and 3157BR are for sale together only; price is $27.50 including
