FA: NIKON LS-4500AF HiEnd LargeFormatFilm Scanner
Ebay Auction
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....82&category=37 51 If you have any questions emails are welcome. For this auction I have for offer a NIKON LS-4500AF Hi End film scanner in perfect condition. The machine has come from a Government Department and from what I can tell it has had very little use. The scanner is in excellent condition mechanically and cosmetically. The Nikon LS-4500AF is a 3-pass scanner, which means much less digital noise than single-pass scanners. It is an extremely versatile system - it will support any film size up to 4x5", 8x11mm Minox (with the included glass film carrier). Plus, the glass 4x5" carrier insures film flatness (for edge-to-edge sharpness) and accomodates full-frame 4x5" scans (unlike the Polaroid film holders which crop into a 4x5" by about 1/4" on all 4 edges). This machine cost the Government around $14000 new. This auction includes the following: *Nikon LS-4500AF scanner *FH-351 Glassless film carrier with holders for: 4x5" sheet film, all medium format 6x4.5, 6x6, 6x7, 6x8, 6x9, (adjustable holder 120/220 holder), single 35mm mounted slide, 4-up 35mm mounted slides *FH-45 Anti-Newton Glass 4x5 film carrier with masks for: 6x9, 6x8, 6x7, 6x6 single frame, 6x6 double frame, 645 single frame, 645 double frame, 35mm single frame, 35mm double frame, 35mm quad frame *FH-356 35mm Film holder: allows you to scan 12 35mm frames at 1000dpi all at the same time; great for digital contact sheets *SCSI cable, and power cable *NikonScan software *User Manual Nikon LS-4500AF Features: The specs for the Nikon LS-4500AF scanner a Reading system/Optics Film type 4x5in. film 40mm, 65mm, 75mm, and 120/220 formats, including 6 x 4.5, 6 x 6, 6 x 7, 6 x 9cm, up to panorama formats 35mm film (single frame, 6-frame strip, mounted film) Transparency, positive or negative, color or monochrome Reading resolution 5,000-pixel monochrome linear CCD x 2 [A]: 1,000 dpi reading resolution [b]: 3,000 dpi reading resolution Note: Dual optical system modes are indicated by [A] and [b].
