You mean small (for higher resolution) or large (to catch more light)?

Actually all that matters is what solid angle they occupy.

then I'll take the idea of pentaprism-free cameras seriously.

However the lag from release to shutter fall is a PITA.

In the meantime, I won't be holding my breath.
