My shot looks natural. The colors in the other shot look cartoonish
by comparison.
Having said that, the focus and sharpness of the other shot are
outstanding, but then whaddya expect? The guy was using the Canon 1D3
with the 600 f/4L IS, after all.

This is an example of a great photo that has been slightly degraded by
the choices made in post-processing, IMO.


The BG in yours was in shade, the other was open sunlight.

I'm not saying he didn't hit the green channel, but it's possible that
he didn't.
