Man, sucks to be a gopher...

But what a collection! Really nice stuff, even if you're not a BIF fan.

Oh boy, is that another one
of the "speared" animals?

I think that's about the most boring video I've ever watched! Under
exposed too!

Interesting how so many published videos of
the "wavy" d90 but no one has had the guts
to show what happens to the 5d2 videos when
the camera so much as trembles.

Ah well...

The D90 is a better movie camera in low light or hand held than the 5D2.
They both suffer from the effects of a rolling shutter but those
worshippers of the God of EOS are not content to accept that their
camera has just as many problems as any other brand...

Maybe it's because they paid over twice as much for FF only to discover
there is no magic button that makes them as good as a cheap video camera
or a D90 at half the cost.

Wow. Nice shot, Alan. I guess that puts Brett in his place. ;^)

I don't think Alan is trying to claim credit for that shot. It's a
shot he's linking to that was taken by someone in California.

Dude, it's no more oversaturated than any of your shots.

OK, compare it to a similar shot of mine.
http://www.pbase.com/bret/image/105826464

My shot looks natural. The colors in the other shot look cartoonish
by comparison.
Having said that, the focus and sharpness of the other shot are
outstanding, but then whaddya expect? The guy was using the Canon 1D3
with the 600 f/4L IS, after all.

This is an example of a great photo that has been slightly degraded by
the choices made in post-processing, IMO.

Unh-hunh. You have your sour grapes filter in place.
