The file above contains both IPTC and Exif.

So why does it show this :-

Lens Model: Canon EF 35-80mm f/4-5.6
Focal Length: 50
FNumber: 4
ISO Speed Ratings: 3,200

Cause that's what the adapter reports. I haven't programed it yet. You
have obviously never used adapted lenses...

Why is it in the png 'format' ?

Most don't give a rat's ass about the format, unless it interferes with
the viewing. Talk about the image.
I think it is an interesting image. The doughnut bokeh is characteristic
of any cat lens.

Emphasizing the most horrific aspect of mirror-lenses. I've taken shots that show no donuts because there were no specular highlights. That is the mirror lens's best destiny.

A cat lens is not intended to be used as a general purpose lens. Many of
us like the effect, and use one for that purpose. Your comment is about
as valid as complaining that a wide angle lens is not good for wildlife.

The 500/8 and 17-40/4 is about the same size, takes the same filters
and the mirror weighs less, so it's easy to bring even if you don't
plan on using a long lense...

I think "best destiny" covered that.

Well... You might have got lemons but I'm positively surprised and love
to be able to have a super tele in the bag that ain't bigger, 15cm in
length or heavier than a compact WA zoom. Wether you like the *form* of
the bokeh or not is a matter of taste, it's a function of the shape of
the aperture. I do not really understand the frantic hate against
"cats" that some people show.

Remember this unanswered question from 17 May?

A question?

When YOU use dropbox to display an image, unlike myself and other users
here you don't give away details of your name. Can you please advise how
you achieve that?

For your trouble, I'll share this recent image of my niece's dog (taken
with my sister's iPad Pro)

https://www.dropbox.com/s/3yjpec26pj...Daisy.jpg?dl=0

Looking at it on my iMac - it seems pretty good quality. What do you think?

I suspect skulduggery! ;-)
