From what I understand of the, cheaper than dirt Yongnou lenses the optics
are all plastic. However, if that works for you $75 is a bargain.

So catching on to sarcasms ain't your forte?

I have the FD 50/1.8 for the M, so I'm good... See:

Not bad, not bad. As I said, if it works for you it is a bargain.

All things considered that is a pretty deep DoF, so where is the great bokeh?

That's a Canon lense...

.... and I was not trying to demonstrate any bokeh but making clear that
I'm not in market for the Yongnuo.

A great capture - in Norway I believe! :-)

On a rather dull day!

You have a wicked sense of humour, 'android'! ;-)

A question?

When YOU use dropbox to display an image, unlike myself and other users
here you don't give away details of your name. Can you please advise how
you achieve that?

For your trouble, I'll share this recent image of my neice's dog (taken
with my sister's iPad Pro)

https://www.dropbox.com/s/3yjpec26pj...Daisy.jpg?dl=0

Looking at it on my iMac - it seems pretty good quality. What do you think?

They talk about 'coating technology' so some of the elements are
presumably glass. They also give the MTF curves.

It should be glass since they usually base their lenses on some legacy
design, if I've understod things correctly and to then use another
material in the optics than the original would be fatal. Diverting from
the original glass composition could be an explanation why knockoffs
rarely measure up to the originals.
