which cameras is almost instant on?
I'm looking for a small camera that is ready to shoot within 1/2 second of
power on. Do such things exist? The only ones I know are the nikon D70 and the upcoming canon 20D. I'm hoping to find something smaller... |

My camera requires about 4 seconds, and rarely has that been a problem. Those with no zoom capability come up faster, but you probably don't want to sacrifice that much. |

Click On, press the shutter release to focus, and blast away shooting.
Thats what I do with my cam anyway to capture candid shots. =bob= "Ron Hunter" wrote in message ... 1/2 second? WHY?
