...digital victim - Konica-Minolta closes division
http://konicaminolta.net/releases/2003/1201_01_01.html 1. Background to the resolution and future prospects: The recent rapid growth of the digital photo imaging market has drastically reduced domestic demand for silver-halide photography, thus adversely affecting the domestic photofinishing services of KMPI. Aware of the need to drastically reform its photofinishing services to better meet the demand of the changing market environment, KMPI transferred the operations of KIJ to Konica Minolta Photo Solutions Co., Ltd. (PPS) on October 1, 2003 and decided to dissolve and liquidate KIJ. -- e-meil: there's no such thing as a FreeLunch. |

Since the new entity also has Konica in the name, it looks like it is still owned by Konica Minolta. Is this just a shift, consolidation, or name change? Ciao! Digital victim? No. It appears to be nothing more than part of the
corporate restructuring of the physical assets as a result of the meger. KB "Alan Browne" wrote in message . .. http://konicaminolta.net/releases/2003/1201_01_01.html 1.
