Filterholders can cost more than the lense... Via NR:

It looks like a 100mm filter holder is included with the kit. Then depending
on the filter material (glass, or resin), type (square, rectangular), and
manufacturer the filter cost could run $25-$300.
The Lee assembly for the Rokinon 14/2.8 is USD 320 combined, no filter
included. The lense is USD 290...
You just changed your argument. What does anything regarding the
Rokinon/Samyang 14mm f/2.8 have to do with your original announcement
concerning the system agnostic (Canon/Nikon) Naiad 15mm f/3 Neptune art lens?
Your original complaint is about the Naiad 15mm f/3 Neptune art lens from
Lomography which includes a filter holder for 100x130mm filters, that
particular kit without filters has a cost of $449. The appropriate Canon, or
Nikon baseplate the price is $299, bringing the cost of a working lens to
$748.

They sell various multi-lens (15, 35, 50, & 80mm) bundles with filter kits,
including a selection of filters for $1249.

That is most expensive Lee filter holder for wide angle lenses. Why match it
with a budget lens?

So what?
Lee Filters and various adaptors for their system are known to be costly, and
if you are looking for specialized mount rings for oddball budget
Rokinon/Samyang lenses they will be appropriately expensive. Check on the
cost of some of the more reputible filter systems for wide/ultrawide angle
lenses with specialized filterholders for 100mm, 150mm, or 4x4 filters.
Why not see what Cokin, or some of the throw-away Chinese filters can do for
your budget lens?
