It really depends, I have to admit, sometimes you get someone on the
ball, other times, well......

The worst ever went something like this

Me: "What film do you have in the fridge"

Them: "Fridge?"

Me: " Ya the film fridge"

Them: " We don't have a fridge"

Me: "Behind you"

Them: "What?"

Me: "Turn around"

Them : " Oh"

Me: " Those little boxes are film"

You got the third guy, dumberer, then there is the fourth guy, who
actually knows what goes on, think he is there about twice a week for 5
minutes......

That scazes me, the Walmart clerk probably knows nothing about cameras
or how to properly handle film.......

If the chemicals are okay and the machines clean it should be okay. If you
only get processing they don't even cut the film up. I gave them a test roll
awhile back. It was fine.

That might be okay, soup it, sleeve it, and hand it over, any idea what
they charged for this?

Is that chemistries to make 5 litres, or 5 litres of chemistries? I
know that C-41 chemistries decompose fairly quickly, powders last longer
then liquids..... I may send him an email....

Makes up 5litres. He sells smaller kits but you'll end up paying more per
roll. It can be cheaper to get the bigger kit and have some go stale then to
get a couple of smaller ones. With the Ra-4 kit I got I only make up the
amount of chemicals I need. The concentrate will keep a lot longer then the
mixed solutions. The C-41 kits are good for 10 rolls of 35mm per litre of
working solution. That sounds right. He includes directions for making up
smaller amounts of chemicals. All you need are some small graduates or some
kids medicine syringes. The little ones without points that they sell for a
couple of bucks. They make measuring small amounts of liquids relatively easy.

Got'em one thing bugged me though, his US$-CA$ conversion is a little
high for a US price. Wonder about payment though, I don't believe in
credit cards (don't have one), wonder if he will take a money order?
Might be worth a run to Montreal, I need some bagels anyway.....
