I found the old hand operated iron water pumps dotted around Berlin to
be fascinating.

When I was in Europe about 20 years ago, I noticed that
some of the door knockers and hinges were very old and quite
beautiful.....One could make photographing these a great hobby also.....


There's enough of those in Paris to keep you busy for many years.


I bet London is full of them also.....All you'd need is a lens (set) that's
the right length to fill the frame from a tripod set up on the street in
front of the average house....
