It may be reduced compared to the digital P&S cameras, but it is
certainly not *zero*. After all, you have to get the mirror out of the
way first -- and stop the diaphragm down. :-)

And -- if you are using autofocus, you have to wait for that to
complete -- except in "sports" mode, I believe.
