It looks to me as though your problem lies with the shop light. You will
never solve this problem photographically by using such undiffused harsh
lighting, but that is easily solved. You could go the expensive route by
using specialized photographic diffusers, or reflectors, or you can adapt
your shop light by placing a diffuser sheet between the light and your
subject. A search on Amazon for light diffuser, or diffuser sheet will expand
those options.
