Default HELP ME!!!! I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT DEVELOPING CHEMICALS!!!

I use the chemistry more dilute than usual and give the

to hold. Both trays work alternately for washing. Dan

If you are going to do one shot development, then you don't need a stop
bath. Fixer is acid enougth to stop the development. the stop bath is
to prevent the developing agents getting into the fixer and the alkali
in the developer neutralizing the acid in the fixer, which hardens
the emulsion.

Since you are not going to reuse the fixer, then it does not matter
if it becomes contamined with developer, or looses its hardening
qualities.

If you want to look around, you can even find formulae for "monobaths",
combinations of developer and fixer.

If you have not looked at:

Start there.
