No you won't because human ears can;t detect phase. Just try it.

yes but difficult to put it down to phase as the error.


You sure can. the bass will largely disappear and the soundstage will
have the 'hole in the middle' quality. Other (particularly things near
the centre) will also go weird, and the overall sound will be muddled
except for tings in one channel only.
You won't be able to say well the flute is 30 deg out of phase with the violin etc...


They are separate independent sources and there never was a phase
correlation.



But be worned if a sales does it and cliams for $1000 dollars an auto-change does it for you ....
a fool and his money are easily parted.


Money invested in a spelling-checker would be wasted.
