nothing is 100% failsafe.

however, macs are among the closest to it.

but if you're not going to take the trouble
to *really* be careful then a Mac is a much safer
choice.... assuming it will run the software you
need.

macs can run mac/windows/unix software, all natively.

no other system can do that.
