nonsense.

You'rer talking ****.

nope. that would be you, as usual.

Apple doesn;t charge for updates or upgrades to new OS's so the cost must be
included in the price of the device.

nor does microsoft or google.

updates to windows 10 and android are free.

in fact, today is patch tuesday and another free update will be
available.

the price of apple products has absolutely nothing whatsoever
to do with updates and are comparable to prices of similar competing
products,

That can;t be compared that easily.

Software doesn't get written for free.

nobody said it did.

plus android and windows also have free updates, for devices
that often cost *more*.

how about free upgrades how free was windows 7 windows 8 and now windows 10

how free was macos 10.2, 10.3, 10.4, 10.5, 10.6 and 10.7?
iphone os even had a paid upgrade.

check on amazon and then see how much the last few Apple OS's are.

Why can't I have a free copy of windows for my mac ?

whoosh.
