That just shows your ignorance.

Most working photographers don't have a web site, have no need of one
and don't want one. They are a waste of time and effort, resulting in
a great many spurious and time consuming "enquiries" and very few
genuine business leads.

Only a minority of people in general have Web sites of their own, but
more than the average percentage of photographers have one. Web sites
do not generate spurious inquiries in my experience. They don't
necessarily generate a lot of business, but what they generate is pretty
solid. Virtually all of my business comes through my Web site, but then
again I'm getting about 220,000 unique visitors per month.

And out of 220,000 visitors/month, how many useful inquiries?
