Sadly, it extends to emails from associates and family members who
promulgate those ridiculous tag lines.

The folks who try to get you to sign up for those 'FREE!' items are
most noticeable for it, and you can get into real arguments about it
with them, they're possibly the only spammers who respond as they
think they can actually talk folks into signing up for whatever it is
they so desperately want.
