Default Are Windows repair solutions like a traffic light button?

Hold to that opinion for long enough and the transmission will tell
you otherwise.

Like many pure electric vehicles, the Tesla Model S is missing a
whole lot of extraneous stuff including a*transmission, gears*and
a*clutch. This means there1s a plethora*of things that don1t need*to
be maintained due to component wear or failure. But it also means
that the Model S has a much different driving characteristic than*any
other car with a transmission.

which has nothing to do with computers.

do try to stick to the topic. if you can.

Playing with words again? Or just displaying your ignorance?

not in the least.

Now why did you snip my reponse to you? Was it because it showed you
to be both ignorant and foolish? I say again:

because you ignored the above which shows you to be wrong *and* cars
have nothing to do with the topic.

once again, you're trying to argue and bringing up irrelevant crap.

you obviously *can't* stick to the topic.

So you were really trying to wriggle out of your statement that
"anything that requires the user to manually manage it is
fundamentally broken".

nope, and oil changes aren't manually managing anything anyway.

you are once again missing the point, instead trying to argue (and
failing).

nevertheless, it is indeed a fundamental flaw with ice that the oil
should be changed, which is one reason why the interval has increased,
as improvements are made with both the engine and the oil.

note 'should'. it's not a requirement. there are numerous examples
where the oil has not been regularly changed (or at all) and the engine
outlasts the rest of the vehicle and/or the owner.

Neil responded with "It will be interesting to see how long your car
lasts without an oil change".

yes he did. so what?

that has nothing to do with the topic and as i said, electric vehicles
don't need oil changes because there is no oil to change.

since you're only seeking to argue, you ignored that and brought up
transmissions, except that is also not an issue. from above:
Like many pure electric vehicles, the Tesla Model S is missing a
