How can you travel to a remote, far away place with just *one* lens?

However he did say that he needed this lens as it was the only wide-angle he had with him. That leads one to believe that he had other, or at least one other lens which was not a wide-ange. That is going to be unavoidable even if ordered for B&H for a Euro sale. But US sales taxes would be far less...
