Anti-Reflection Coating

I read an article in a swedish technical paper that mantioned
this coating. No reflexions! When I checked it I got to this
site:

Do you think this could have an impact on "lens coating"?

It seems most likely that the inventors of the method
thought about lens coating, but that application isn't
mentioned.
