Photosensors or photodetectors are sensors of light or other
electromagnetic energy. There are several varieties:
¥ Optical detectors, which are mostly quantum devices in which an
individual photon produces a discrete effect.

A photoresistor or Light Dependent Resistor or CdS Cell is a resistor
whose resistance decreases with increasing incident light intensity.
It can also be referred to as a photoconductor.

Just set your filters to delete google groups. Unfortunately it does get
rid of a few useful posters but much of the rubbish goes.

Google does seem to respond to abuse complaints but
all of the recent spam posted to the rec.photo groups has
come from them. Anyone can get a Google account, post a
bunch of spam and disappear. Probably we shold be going
after the websites they use for selling junk.
