camera optics focus control

Hello, All.
My name is Alex Zaretsky.
I am Imaging Algorithms Engineer.
Currently, I am working on a project where we use several defocused
images of the same scene to generate one new image of increased spatial
resolution. Naturally, the defocusing has to be controlled.
So far we have done only Matlab simulations.
At the practical stage of the project we are looking for the real
camera system such that the focus can be controlled by external
Software from computer while the camera AF mechanism is disabled.

I can put these rerequirements that the camera has to fulfil in the
following statements:
1) Auto-Focus can be disabled
2) Programmable control of the F (focal length) of the camera optics or
V (distance from the lens to the sensor)
3) RAW images can be read out of the camera

I would really appreciate any help or suggestions.

Thanks a lot.

Alex
