Canon SD780IS or better alternative?

I have been using Canon Elph cameras for years (SD200 and now SD600)
so I am partial towards Canon. I have been very happy with these
cameras except when taking pictures of buildings (such as LV casinos
on the strip). I was about to pull the trigger and order it for a
great deal at $199 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001SER47O?

but decided to post on here first what people thought. Is there a
better camera for for the price or will the SD780 be a good upgrade
from the SD600?

Thanks

I just bought a G10 to supplement an Ixus 850 IS which is getting a bit
battered and to be honest for most things you'd struggle to tell the
difference. Considering their size and price, I think the performance (and
ease of use) of the SD's and Ixus's is just astonishing. I'm also on my
fourth Canon digital because I don't want the bother of learning new menus
and buttons.
