Nikon NX2 Printing Problem.
I was in the process of exploring the difference in print quality
obtained from the same 16 bit TIFF file, printer and setup, using Photoshop and DxO respectively (DxO slightly better) when I decided to see what it looked like when printed from NX2. To my amazement NX2 no longer gives me direct access to my Epson 3800 printer driver. It used to be quite easy, then it became slightly difficult, and now there is no sign of it whatsoever. There are all sorts of thing I can set up via the Print menu but I have found no way to tell the printer the type of paper I have got loaded into it. Nor can I access any of the more subtle printer settings. This change must have sneaked in with one of the more recent upgrades for NX2. I am now on version 2.3.5. I would like to know if anyone else has the same problem. More important, I would like to know if anyone else has the same version and _can_ access their printer driver. If so, I would like to know how they do it. -- Regards, Eric Stevens |
