What?
No comments from the "clickety-clack" brigade...

Idiot. Did it ever occur to your feeble mind that a passel of people
don't care how a camera works, but only that they can make good
photographs with it? Did it ever occur to you that the world is not
black and white and that a passel of people own both traditional DSLRs
(Canon 6D, 5D Mark III, 5D Mark IV) and mirrorless cameras (Canon M5)?

Idiot!

I agree with almost everything that you have said and almost everything that
you will say in your entire life.

Well, noise does matter. Years ago I had a DSLR whose mirror used to
wake up the dead...

Even shutters can be noisy:

not always. in a crowded theater, it sometimes will (depends on the
show). on the other hand, at a sports event, the noise from the fans
will be *much* louder than all of the cameras put together. it won't
even be noticed.

not all of them are that loud.
