Idiot. Did it ever occur to your feeble mind that a passel of people don't care how a camera works, but only that they can make good photographs with it? Did it ever occur to you that the world is not black and white and that a passel of people own both traditional DSLRs (Canon 6D, 5D Mark III, 5D Mark IV) and mirrorless cameras (Canon M5)? Well, noise does matter. Years ago I had a DSLR whose mirror used to wake up the dead... Even shutters can be noisy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvqgvWx_l8g -- Alfred Molon Olympus E-series DSLRs and micro 4/3 forum at http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/MyOlympus/ http://myolympus.org/ photo sharing site |

Well, noise does matter. not always. in a crowded theater, it sometimes will (depends on the show). on the other hand, at a sports event, the noise from the fans will be *much* louder than all of the cameras put together. it won't even be noticed. Years ago I had a DSLR whose mirror used to wake up the dead... not all of them are that loud. |
